My family is originally from Detroit, Michigan but it wasn't until I really started getting into football that I started watching the Detroit Lions. The coaching staff and players made me really fall in love with the team.
The amount of injuries the Lions had to deal with especially on the defensive side was a record in the NFL. However, they were still able to end the regular season with a 15-2 record.
Despite the injuries and two losses during the regular season, one of the values the Lions are known for is grit. You can see the grit in all of the players and especially the head coach Dan Campbell.
Unfortunately, this playoff season the Lions were taken out after a lackluster performance against the Washington Commanders. It was a sad way to end the season since so many fans believed the Lions were going to go all the way to the Superbowl. But I'm looking forward to next season and I know they're going to come back better than ever!
